Back pain can be acute or chronic. It can be the result of an accident at work, a car accident, a fall; it might seem like it came from nowhere. Maybe you picked up the baby and turned, or lifted something heavy not quite the right way. Maybe you were bending over putting on your socks, or putting something in the oven, or taking milk out of the fridge.
It can be a little thing, or a huge event, but your back hurts just the same. Maybe you’ve given up some activities or are stiff and sore when you get out of bed in the morning.
It doesn’t have to be this way!
And many times it doesn’t take much to get out of back pain.
Do you have back pain due to:
Degenerative disc disease
AS (Ankylosing Spondylitis)
Believe it or not, all these conditions have misalignment of the spine. And when the spine is more aligned, these conditions can diminish or disappear.
Back pain affects 80% of the population at some point:
You could be in your teens or 90s or in between.
You could be male or female, whether self-employed, employed, retired or student.
Maybe you have a physical job, maybe you sit at a desk, maybe you drive for a living, maybe none of these.
Back pain does not discriminate.
Athletes get back pain, so do people who are not athletes and who love to work out, or people who do little or no exercise.
Have you tried:
They’re all great. We love them; we recommend them, and maybe they even help. But they don’t necessarily teach you what to do to get you out of pain and keep you there.
If you live in the Bay Area, Marin, or Novato, we can see you in person; we also work with people all over the world via Skype.
